But apparently that's what some people think.
Personally, I think it's pretty ridiculous that people think of robots as humans, and believe that they can express emotion and feeling like us. Okay, maybe they can express "emotion" and make different facial expressions and such, however, they're not genuine. These machines are programmed to react this way, and that's why they do what they do.

It looks just like a human!!! ...well until it turns its head and you can see all of the wires hanging out of it.
No but seriously, this is creepy. I think one of the points that the author of that article was trying to make was that these human-like robots can be walking around on the streets and we don't even know it. He's trying to argue that if robots can act like humans, talk like humans, react like humans, play the guitar, drive cars, make meatloaf or whatever the hell else they can do, then they must be humans and they must be treated the same way. wrong.

It's the company that produces these human-like intelligent robots. There are a bunch of videos there, including one where the inventor talks about them having emotion.
