9/06/2010 Prompt: Thought Experiments

Imagine that in order to learn how to live better on earth you could create and then visit an alternate reality. In this thought experiment, you may directly change only one thing about reality, but presumably many things would change as a result of the one change you choose. What would you choose to change? Why that? And how do you think things would be different?

Remember: A blog post is a short essay that does not require the reader to know to what prompt you were responding. A blog post is not a "short answer" to these questions.

Blog posts should be short (like 3 paragraphs), have a compelling title, be provocative, be visually interesting, and have precise tags or labels.
